DIY: Cake stand for your sink soaps

I was on Pinterest (as I always am) and came across a fabulous idea! My husband and I made tons of these cake plates to sell at our local peddler's fair. While lots of them sold, we still had a few left over. I used some in my bathroom to hold jewelry and what not, but I never thought about the kitchen! 

It's funny how these things don't just come to you on their own, but it's good to find that inspiration elsewhere.
