New Discoveries

Forgive me if my posts are a little off lately. I am up to my ears in homework and so I think my mind is really focused on design and so forth! But I promise, soon and very soon I will be on that path of balance. Until then, bare with my design fever....

So, I decided that I am in LOVE with wonderful designs of Paula Scher. Not only is she an interesting individual, but her work is phenomenal. This is the type of person that inspires me to be a great graphic designer...or at least stick to it. I'm realizing more and more that the designs in todays society have hit a wall. Things are starting to all look the same and its a bit boring, to say the least. Not that I'm saying I will change that in any way, shape or form. It's just hard to come up with designs that haven't already been done before...I mean, how much more can you squeeze out of a human brain. Not much, since I have seen the works of MANY amazing designers and I can't imagine ever topping what they do. 

All I'm left with is inspiration to do well. Perhaps one day I will truly feel proud about my little creations here and there. First, I have to focus on what parts of design I love SO much because there are so many fields to choose from. For now, I hope you enjoy some of the fabulous work of Paula Scher....
